Cardiac Survivors Ceremony
The 2026 Greenville County Cardiac Arrest Survivor Ceremony was held on Thursday, May 14, 2026 at First Presbyterian Church in Greenville.
This Ceremony recognizes those who provided exceptional care to patients in cardiac arrest, celebrates survivors who experienced cardiac arrest,
and promotes the importance of educating the public in CPR.
Created in 2011, the ceremony has honored more than 1200 first responders responsible for assisting in saving the lives of citizens who suffered cardiac arrest.
The efforts of healthcare professionals and citizens in the "chain of survival" (early access, bystander CPR, automatic external defibrillator use, in-hospital
care, and recovery) are acknowledged and rewarded.
The Springtime ceremony was attended by more than 2,000 people. Take a look at the highlights and enjoy the videos that share heroic
stories of exceptional performance by Greenville County first responders, EMTs, and paramedics.
