Question:

Where can I get a driveway pipe for a new residence?

Answer:

Contact the Public Works Division, Greenville County Square, Suite S-3000 at 864.467.7016. To obtain a driveway culvert, a person must have a building permit, mobile home permit, or a septic tank permit. Building permits/mobile home permits/septic tank permits are issued through the Codes Enforcement Department, 864.467.7060. With a building permit/mobile home permit, a driveway culvert can be issued with a deposit. The deposit is refunded once the home is occupied.

Question:

Where can I get a driveway pipe for pasture or farm land?

Answer:

The County will not provide a driveway culvert to vacant land. However, a property owner may obtain an encroachment permit to install the culvert at their expense. The proof of a building permit, mobile home permit, or septic tank permit will not be needed to obtain the encroachment permit. Contact the Public Works Division, Greenville County Square, Suite S-3000, at 864.467.7016.
