Greenville County encourages those needing to pay taxes to avoid coming inside County Square.
Citizens can pay property taxes through the mail, the internet or by using the convenient dropbox located outside the Tax Office. The County accepts credit and debit card payments on our website, online.
From now until further notice, the County will waive the online service fee provided by SC.GOV, our third-party provider.
The service fee for Hospitality Taxes will also be waived until further notice.

Answer:

Contact the Public Works Division at 864.467.7016.

Question:

What if a medical or some other emergency arises and I am snowed in?

Answer:

Contact the Sheriff's Office or 9-1-1 for emergency service assistance.

Question:

When will snow be plowed in a particular area? What factors are used to determine when a street is plowed?

Answer:

Any road meeting two or more of the following criteria is designated as a snow route. Contact the Public Works Division at 864.467.7016 for more information.

  1. Community Grocery Store
  2. Hospital
  3. Doctors' Clinic and Offices
  4. Drugstores
  5. Roads having an average daily traffic count greater than 500 vehicles per day.
  6. Certain steep grades in excess of 8%.
  7. Roads providing direct access to major commercial/industrial areas.
