Clinical Operating Guidelines
Clinical Operating Guidelines
These standards have been developed according to widely accepted treatment practices
at local, state, and national levels. These standards have been reviewed and endorsed
by Martin Lutz M.D., Medical Director.
While treatment and transport decisions in the field vary, these guidelines can assist
the prehospital provider by standardizing procedures for the most common and routine
emergencies encountered, and will be considered the minimum standard. It is expected
that good judgment will be used by the prehospital provider performing these skills.
Please understand that these standards are to be used together with the standing orders,
and with consideration of the level of training and certification of the provider.
