Judicial Sales
Pursuant to Order of the Supreme Court of South Carolina, filed January 6, 2021, all in-person
judicial proceedings statewide are suspended as of January 11, 2021 until further Order of the
Chief Justice. Thus, the February 2021 monthly sale has been canceled. Please check this
webpage in February for any update concerning future sales.

Summary of Services
The Master-in-Equity Court (also known as Equity Court) is a division of the Circuit Court. The Master-in-Equity hears civil, non-jury lawsuits.
Each case heard by the Master-in-Equity Judge is assigned using a procedural device known as an Order of Reference. Once a case is referred to this
court, the Master-in-Equity shall exercise all power and authority which a circuit judge sitting without a jury would have in a similar matter. All
records for cases referred to this court are located in the Clerk of Court Records Room on the Second Floor of the Greenville County Courthouse.
Foreclosure Sales
Sales are usually the first Monday of each month at 11:00 A.M., and held in Courtroom 5, Third Floor, Greenville County Courthouse, Judicial Wing.
When the first Monday is a legal holiday, then the sale will be the next day, Tuesday. Public Notices are published in
The Greenville News or other appropriate publications in the classified ads section
