Project Preview Meetings
Project Preview Meetings provide an early opportunity for the public to learn about proposed Open Space Residential developments before applicants submit a formal subdivision application. They are held the first Wednesday of every month at 4:30pm in Council Chambers at County Square, 301 University Ridge, Greenville.
Meetings are conducted in an open house format rather than as formal presentations or public hearings. Each applicant displays conceptual plans and other project information at an assigned location in the meeting room. Members of the public may move freely among the proposed projects, review the materials, speak directly with applicants, ask questions, and share comments or concerns. Planning Staff will be available to explain the meeting process and applicable County requirements.
Applicants should attend with a representative who is familiar with the proposal and prepared to discuss the project’s layout, proposed lots, open space, access, buffers, infrastructure, and anticipated development schedule. Display materials should be clear, legible, and understandable to the general public.
Project Preview Meetings are informational only. No application is approved or denied, and no formal decision is made at the meeting. Public comments will be documented for consideration during the subsequent subdivision review process, but community agreement is not required for an applicant to proceed.
Applicants public should see the resources below for the meeting schedule, submission requirements, project materials, agendas, and additional information needed to get started.
