Greenville County encourages those needing to pay taxes to avoid coming inside County Square.
Citizens can pay property taxes through the mail, the internet or by using the convenient dropbox located outside the Tax Office. The County accepts credit and debit card payments on our website, online.
From now until further notice, the County will waive the online service fee provided by SC.GOV, our third-party provider.
The service fee for Hospitality Taxes will also be waived until further notice.

Notice:
Community Cat spay/neuter surgeries are open on an appointment-only basis. Walk-ins cannot be accommodated at this time. Limited appointments are available Thursday through Sunday for morning hours. We recommend making an appointment at least 24-48 hours before you intend to humanely trap a cat. Call 864-467-3950 to make an appointment.

If you do not have access to a trap and the cat meets the qualifications of the program, you can call (864) 467-3950 to make an appointment to pick up a humane, live trap from Animal Care.

We will spay or neuter community (free roaming) cats at no cost to citizens of Greenville County. As part of the Community Cats program, cats will be vaccinated, spayed or neutered, and ear-tipped (the humane, universal symbol of a sterilized cat). Then you will return the cat to the location or vicinity of origin.

To find out more about our community cat diversion program, call our info line at 864.467.3981.

Cats must be brought in a humane cat trap in order to participate in the Community Cat Diversion program. One cat per trap. Limit 2 cats per household per day.

Note: Please be sure you’re using humane cat traps when you bring in cats. Rodent traps look similar but are much smaller and not suitable for use with cats.
