Court Dates
The Clerk of Court’s Office does not schedule court dates for General Sessions cases. Instead, the responsibility for
scheduling these dates lies with the Thirteenth Judicial Circuit Solicitor’s Office, which serves as the prosecuting
authority for General Sessions cases in Greenville County.
The Solicitor’s Office will notify defendants, victims, and attorneys by mail of the time and place of any scheduled court appearances.
It is crucial that you inform the Solicitor’s Office of any changes to your mailing address to ensure you receive proper notification.
Failure to update your address could result in missed court appearances and serious legal consequences.
The Clerk of Court’s Office cannot excuse you from your scheduled court date. Only a Circuit Court judge or the Thirteenth
Judicial Circuit Solicitor’s Office can excuse you from your scheduled court date.
For inquiries related to court dates or scheduling, please contact the Thirteenth Judicial Circuit Solicitor’s Office directly at 864-467-8647.
Access to Criminal Court Dockets:
The Solicitor’s Office provides current court dockets on its website, which can help you determine when specific cases are scheduled. This
information is useful for attorneys, defendants, victims, and members of the public who wish to monitor court proceedings.
To access the current criminal court dockets, visit the Thirteenth Judicial Circuit Solicitor’s website at

For the public’s convenience we have televisions located on each floor of the courthouse showing which type of matter
is being held in each respective courtroom. If you have any questions or concerns a bailiff will be happy to assist you.
