Greenville County encourages those needing to pay taxes to avoid coming inside County Square.
Citizens can pay property taxes through the mail, the internet or by using the convenient dropbox located outside the Tax Office. The County accepts credit and debit card payments on our website, online.
From now until June 30, the County will waive the online service fee provided by SC.GOV, our third-party provider.
The service fee for Hospitality Taxes will also be waived until June 30th.

The Probate Court accepts credit and debit card payments through the internet for payment of court costs, probate fees, marriage licenses, news ad fees and copy fees.

We have chosen to use GovPayNet as our merchant to provide this credit card payment service to the County. Payments processed by GovPayNet are subject to a non-refundable service fee payable to GovPayNet, which fee is a personal expense of the payor and not an estate expense. GovPayNet accepts the major credit, debit or prepaid debit cards, including MasterCard, Visa, American Express, and Discover.
