About

The Human Relations Commission of Greenville County Staff works to promote equal opportunity for all citizens in Greenville County.

The office staff meets this goal through:

Housing Counseling and Assistance to include rental counseling and homeless prevention
Education to include foreclosure prevention, financial literacy/credit repair, and fair housing practices
The Financial Empowerment Center that include one on one financial counseling
The Eviction Protection Program that provides legal assistance and court representation, assistance with landlord/tenant mediation, and eviction protection workshops

The Commissioners appointed by County Council:

Review the organization’s by-laws annually
Set the strategic plan
Provide governance

Meets the first Thursday on a bi-monthly basis at 11:30 a.m. at 301 University Ridge, Greenville.
