About
The Human Relations Commission of Greenville County Staff works to promote equal opportunity for all citizens in Greenville County.
The office staff meets this goal through:
- Housing Counseling and Assistance to include rental counseling and homeless prevention
- Education to include foreclosure prevention, financial literacy/credit repair, and fair housing practices
- The Financial Empowerment Center that include one on one financial counseling
- The Eviction Protection Program that provides legal assistance and court representation, assistance with landlord/tenant mediation, and eviction protection workshops
The Commissioners appointed by County Council:
- Review the organization’s by-laws annually
- Set the strategic plan
- Provide governance
Meets the first Thursday on a bi-monthly basis at 11:30 a.m. at 301 University Ridge, Greenville.
