The board is composed of nine members who are resident citizens of the district and are appointed by the Governor (upon recommendation by Greenville County Council) for three-year terms.
The overall purpose of the board is to manage the Bon Secours Wellness Arena (auditorium).
The board operates, maintains, and equips the Bon Secours Wellness Arena. It also acquires real estate to carry out the purpose for which the special purpose district was created.
