This zoning map has been initiated by petition from property owners in the area. The proposed zoning map represents an adoption request by 100% of all proposed zoned areas on the map.
We encourage all interested residents and property owners to review the proposed zoning map and provide feedback by June 8, 2024. Please contact the Planning Department at planning@greenvillecounty.org to submit comments or obtain more information about the initial zoning process, proposed zoning map, or to withdraw or join the petition.
Schedule:
May 8 – June 8 Post Draft Zoning Map on the Greenville County Website for thirty (30) days
July 15 – P&D Committee Meeting
July 16 - Council Meeting – Initiation for Scattered Sites
August 20 – Council votes to initiate map amendment for both areas
September 16 – Public hearing for two contiguous area and scattered sites
September 17 – First Reading
September 25 – Planning Commission recommendation
October 14 – P&D Committee votes to amend map
November 5 – 2nd Reading
December 3 – 3rd Reading
December 4 – Amendment takes effect
