Notary Public Application and Renewal Instructions
- Carefully type or print legibly all information requested on the top portion of your application and sign in the presence of a notary public.
For your voter registration number, call the Greenville County Voters Registration and Election Office at 864.467.7250 or visit www.scvotes.org.
- Attach a check or money order to your original application in the amount of $25.00 made payable to “SC Secretary of State”.
- Mail the application and check/money order to your County Delegation office. Greenville County residents must mail their applications to:

- Allow four to six weeks for your application to be processed.
- Upon receipt, you must enroll your commission with the County Clerk of Court within 15 days of being commissioned. There is a $10.00 enrollment fee.
Acceptable forms of payment include cash, money order, official check, and credit/debit card (includes a small processing fee). The Clerk of Court’s office
is located in the Greenville County Court House at:
