Posted: 03/06/23 9:46 AM by Suzanne Terry

Our recent survey of Gowansville residents indicated that respondents lacked information on land use controls, such as Land Development Regulations and Zoning. Their preferred method for learning was to attend a local workshop.
You asked, we answered!
Long Range Planning will be holding an educational workshop so that local residents can learn more in general about these planning tools.

What: Gowensville Planning Workshop
Where: Gowensville Community Center (14186 Hwy 11, Campobello)
When: Wednesday, March 29th from 6:00 to 7:30 pm.

Results of the recent Gowensville Community Survey can be viewed here:  Gowensville Survey Results

There was sufficient interest by respondents in having an in-person workshop to learn more about growth management tools.  We will update this space soon with a time and date for a workshop to be held at the Gowensville Community Center.

Thank you, and we look forward to seeing you soon!

Gowensville Survey
Posted: 12/16/22 11:43 AM by Tyler Stone

Greenville County Planning staff have been asked by residents of the Gowensville Community to assess the community’s interest in learning about growth management policies and tools. To that end, planning staff have developed an online survey to assess the community's interests and concerns.
