On May 6, 2014, Committee of the Whole made a motion to forward the Transportation Projects Funding Referendum Ordinance to full council for first reading. At full council it was read into the record. 2nd reading will be held at the May 20th Council Meeting.

History

The Mission of the Greenville County Citizens Roads Advisory Commission was to consider proposals for road improvements and related projects within Greenville County's boundary. The Commission received citizen and community input regarding potential improvements. The final report, presented to Council on April 1, 2014, includes a prioritized list of projects with a value attached to each.

On May 6, 2014, Committee of the Whole made a motion to forward the Transportation Projects Funding Referendum Ordinance to full council for first reading. At full council it was read into the record.

On May 20, 2014 the TPFR Ordinance passed at Second Reading. Third Reading and Public Hearing are June 3, 2014.

On June 3, 2014 Greenville County Council passed at 3rd and final reading the Transportation Projects Funding Referendum Ordinance. The referendum included in the ordinance will appear on the November 4, 2014 ballot.
