Animal Services
At Animal Care, we are here to serve you and the homeless and unwanted pets in Greenville County. We are an open admission shelter, which means that we do not turn away a pet in need, regardless of their adoptability. We accept animals even if they are very old or much too young to be placed for adoption. We openly accept animals that have been abused and neglected, and some that are unsocialized around people.

We choose to be an open admissions facility because we recognize that helping animals involves more than just saving their lives. We aid orphaned and unwanted pets by first providing them with a safe alternative to being turned out or left behind. We offer them good food, clean water, and a safe and dry place to sleep. For many animals that enter our doors, this will be the first time that they have experienced these small luxuries.

Click on any of the links under Animal Services to learn more about the stray and surrendered pet services, or how to reclaim a pet that has been brought to our facility. Animal Services also includes foster care opportunities when a shelter pet needs a little extra TLC, and rescue services when adoption opportunities have failed.
