Dr. Yvonne A. Duckett joined the Commission staff January 22, 2015 as its Executive Director.
In that role, she has the responsibilities of any Greenville County department head.
In her duties as Director, she plans, implements, organizes and coordinates all of the commission’s
programs, initiatives and daily operations. She supervises all personnel, administers the budget,
carries out county government and commission policies, seeks out new funding
and partners with others to attain goals and objectives established by her and the Commission board.
She received a BS degree in business administration, a MA Degree in counseling from South Carolina State University
and a Doctorate Degree in leadership and behavioral health from Grand Canyon University. She has been an entrepreneur and worked
in the field of education for a number of years.
