A resolution of Greenville County, South Carolina expressing support for the Greater Greenville Sanitation District and concern over legislation proposed in the South Carolina General Assembly which would, if enacted, modify its powers in a manner that would have a negative impact on the district’s finances and ability to operate efficiently, and which would have a disproportionate negative impact on the most financially distressed areas of the district and the residents and businesses therein, and which will result in the termination of existing waste collection services to residents and businesses in areas outside the district, and which may result in termination of existing waste collection services to thousands of residents and businesses inside the district; and other matters related thereto.
