Our Unit hosts Domestic Violence (DV) Court in every municipality in Greenville and Pickens County. DV Court is a centralized court system that focuses on Victim safety and Offender accountability and treatment to reduce and deter repeat offenses. DV Court handles DV 3rd offenses monthly in an effort to process a case within 4 weeks of an Offender's arrest. Every DV 3rd is prosecuted by an Assistant Solicitor to ensure effective and consistent case management. DV Court also partners with local service providers to provide counseling services and rehabilitative resources such as housing, legal, and financial assistance.

Our Unit also hosts monthly meetings for Victims of Domestic Violence to (1) meet the prosecution team, (2) obtain information about the court process, and (3) get connected with available rehabilitative resources. Local Service Providers attend our monthly meetings to make connection with Victims accessible and convenient. Our Victim Advocates can assist with filing an Order of Protection (OP). Assistant Solicitors can assist with obtaining a Permanent Restraining Order (PRO) for a Victim at the time of an Offender's conviction.
