Economic Development - Revolving Loan Program
The Greenville County
Redevelopment Authority is starting a new Economic Development and Revolving
Loan Fund (ED & RLF). The goal of this program is to spur economic development
activities and promote opportunities for employment in the communities. The
program shall provide funds to small existing and emerging businesses located in
the five participating municipalities, Greer, Fountain Inn, Mauldin,
Simpsonville and Travelers Rest and the commercial corridors of the
unincorporated areas of Greenville County, outside the City limits of
Greenville.
Under the
Economic Development and Revolving Loan Program (ED & RLF), GCRA has $363,950
budgeted for employment which must be spent no later than September 30, 2012.
The window for loan application submittals is open until available funds are
expended. Eligible applicants must pay a nonrefundable application fee of $100,
submit a completed application with all supplemental documents, and complete the
required hours of business/financial training for new and existing business
provided by the Clemson Small Business Development Center. For detailed
information about the program, please read the information provided below. If
interested, please complete and submit a Project Summary Form along with $25 to
begin the application process. The Project Summary Form will help us determine
if your project is eligible for the ED & RLF Program. The $25 will count towards
the nonrefundable fee of $100. For questions regarding the ED & RLF Program,
please call or email Rashida Jeffers, GCRA Community Development Planner at
