Memorandum Policies
Motions filed and scheduled before the following Judges have certain requirements
that must be followed. It is the filing party's responsibility to notify all opposing
parties of these requirements. Failure to do so, may result in dismissal of your motion.
The Honorable Judge Edward W. Miller
Judge Edward W. Miller requires that all Briefs and/or Memorandums be delivered to him
directly at least 72 hours prior to the hearing. Moving Attorney is
responsible for notifying opposing counsel/part of this requirement. YOU ARE RESPONSIBLE FOR COMMUNICATING THIS REQUEST TO OPPOSING COUNSEL. The Honorable Charles B. Simmons, Jr.
Judge Charles B. Simmons, Jr. requires that Briefs and/or Memorandums be delivered to
him directly at least one (1) week prior to the hearing. Affidavits shall
be filed and served as provided by law. YOU ARE RESPONSIBLE FOR COMMUNICATING THIS REQUEST TO OPPOSING COUNSEL. |

Judge G. Edward Welmaker requires that all briefs and/or memoranda the parties wish to
submit be delivered to him directly at least 72 hours prior to the hearing.
