Lost a Pet?
If you have lost your pet, scroll through our list of lost and stray pets below that are currently at our facility. If an animal on our list matches the description of the pet you are missing, please write down the animal ID number and visit our shelter as soon as possible. A staff member or volunteer will walk you through our shelter to help you find that pet. Please bring proof of ownership such as photos, vaccine records, or other forms of identification. For location and hours of operation, click here. If you have further questions, email lostpet@greenvillecounty.org.

If your search is unsuccessful, please File a Lost Pet Report. Also place a free ad on Craigslist Lost & Found and use our new Facebook page Greenville County Lost & Found Animals to post a picture and information.

Please remember: Lost/Stray animals are held here at our facility for 5 days. It is very important that you come to the shelter immediately and every 2 - 3 days, thereafter, when your pet is missing.

Found a Pet?
If you have found a pet, File a Found Pet Report. Also post flyers at local veterinary offices and pet related businesses and in the areas near where the animal was found. You can also try searching Craigslist Lost & Found or visit our Facebook page Greenville County Lost & Found Animals to post a picture and information of the pet you found. If you have any further questions, email lostpet@greenvillecounty.org.

Strays may be turned into us at no charge. If you wish to adopt the animal you found, if the owner does not claim, let us know and we will indicate that on the animal information card.
