Lost a Pet?
If you have lost your pet, please check out the list of lost and unwanted pets currently housed at our facility below. You may also
wish to visit our shelter.
If you have lost your pet, please check out our lost and found pet list or come visit the shelter. A staff member or volunteer will assist you as we walk you through the animal receiving and intake facility to search for your lost pet. Please bring evidence of ownership, such as photos of your lost pet, proof of rabies vaccination, and/or another reasonable form of ownership identification. Even if the search is unsuccessful, we also offer a way for you to post a picture and description of your pet. Just click on the link to your right and file a lost pet report. Please remember: Stray animals are held for a period of five days; therefore it is important that you come to the shelter and check with us immediately when your pet is missing. Found a Pet?
If you have found a pet, please call us at 864-467-3950 or click on the link to the right and file a found pet report. Also, check
with local veterinarians and various lost pet websites or try searching Craig’s List and online newpapers for lost/found advertisements.
Found animals may be brought into our facility at no charge to the finder if the animal was found in the unincorporated areas of Greenville County and/or in another municipality that has a care service agreement established. If you wish to adopt the animal you found if the owner does not claim, let us know and we will indicate that on the animal's information card.
