Construction and demolition wastes include the inert materials which are wasted during construction, renovation, or demolition projects. Some examples include concrete and asphalt, lumber, pipes, sheetrock, insulation, roofing shingles, carpeting, and other such materials. C&D wastes do not include yard debris or food wastes.
