Recently Completed Drainage Projects
The following are brief descriptions of recently completed drainage projects:
Berkley Avenue Drainage Improvements

Project Location:
The project site is located on Berkley Avenue (County Road # I-100) off Old Buncombe Road in the Sans Souci community of Greenville, South Carolina. The project site is 0.9 acre in size and will impact: a) the shoulders of the road, inside the County right of way, and b) two private properties for the purposes of installing/upgrading the drainage outfalls.

Project Scope:
The main purpose of the project is to improve the existing drainage system, consisting of the installation of new lines and replacement of existing lines. After the drainage system is complete, new asphalt valley gutters will be installed on each side of the road, and the road will be recycled in place and resurfaced.

Beaver Dam Road

Project Location:
The project is located at the intersection of Beaver Dam Road (S-23-177) and U.S. Hwy. 25 in northern Greenville County.

Project Scope:
The project will consist of the construction of a new County road, 24' wide and approximately 1000' long, to connect Beaver Dam Road to the southbound lane of U.S. Highway 25. New deceleration lanes, approximately 450' long each, will be added on the southbound and northbound lanes of U.S. Hwy. 25.
