Associate degree in criminal justice or related field B.S. degree in criminal justice or related field After certification by the South Carolina Criminal Justice Academy
$26,591.55 + 5% + 10% + 4%
* Additional increases for experience - 1.25% for each year of law enforcement/corrections service

Minimum qualifications:

  • At least 21 years of age
  • A US citizen
  • Possess a high school diploma or equivalent
  • Possess a valid South Carolina drivers license
  • Clear FBI/SLED background check
  • Must be able to successfully complete pre-employment testing & physicals
  • Must be available to work any assigned shifts
