Detention Officer (Uncertified)
This salary schedule is not a contract; it shows potential salaries of qualified applicants.
|Associate degree in criminal justice or related field
||B.S. degree in criminal justice or related field
||After certification by the South Carolina Criminal Justice Academy
|* Additional increases for experience - 1.25% for each year of
law enforcement/corrections service
- At least 21 years of age
- A US citizen
- Possess a high school diploma or equivalent
- Possess a valid South Carolina drivers license
- Clear FBI/SLED background check
- Must be able to successfully complete pre-employment testing & physicals
- Must be available to work any assigned shifts
