Autumn Hills Special Tax District
Autumn Hills provides for lawn maintenance of common areas and electrical service for street lights. Greenville County Ordinance No. 4289, effective January 1, 2010, pursuant to 4-9-30(5)(a) of the SC Code of Laws. Pursuant to Section 4-9-30(5)(a) of the Code of Laws of South Carolina, Ordinance 4289 created the Autumn Hills Special Tax District. The purpose of the district is to provide for the safety, and welfare of its citizens by funding the costs of street lighting within the district and funding the costs of maintaining and improving the entrance, exits, common areas, and right-of-ways within the district. The Autumn Hills Tax District Commission is the governing body of this special tax district and consists of three (3) members appointed by County Council serving three (3) year staggered terms. All members of the Commission shall reside within the geographical boundaries of the special tax district. County Council shall fill vacancies on the Commission for the remainder of the unexpired term. The Commission shall adopt its own rules and operating procedures.
