Fireworks License | Clerk of Court

The Clerk of Court issues fireworks licenses for businesses located within Greenville County. To obtain a fireworks license, you must first obtain a retail license from the South Carolina Tax Office located on Century Drive in Greenville. You must also obtain a SheriffТs Inspection form and Affidavit from the SheriffТs Office located on #4 McGee Street in Greenville.

Fireworks licenses, regardless of the date of issue, expire on July 15 of each year and must be renewed.

The fee for a fireworkТs license is fifty dollars ($50.00). Acceptable forms of payment include cash, money order or business check. The Clerk of Court does not currently accept credit or debit cards as payment.
